Each class at May Road School is a dynamic and modern space where children are encouraged to explore concepts and learn independently. Technology features throughout our classes, with junior students using iPads to enhance their learning and develop their thinking, while our year 4-6 students use 1:1 Chromebooks.
In the digital learning environments, students blog individually and access their learning in a variety of ways, as well as through a visible class site. The class site allows whānau to become more engaged in their children’s learning and keep up to date with the day to day happenings in the learning environments.

Our Lumana'i Manuia Mo A Taeao team is made up of three Samoan bilingual classes.
A foundation for our way of teaching and learning is: ‘Ole ala i le pule o le tautua’. The pathway to leadership is through service.
The contexts for learning come from ‘faa Samoa’ perspectives. These provide opportunities for our learners to celebrate and understand what it means to be a Samoan in New Zealand.
