Parent Information

Whānau engagement remains at the heart of what we do here at May Road School. As such, we place a strong level of importance on keeping our community engaged and up to date with school events and changes.

Each class writes a termly newsletter keeping parents and caregivers informed. We also produce a weekly newsletter on Thursdays. We recommend downloading the newsletter and keeping up to date with school events and happenings. We continue to be immensely proud of the diverse range of activities on offer for our learners and enjoy sharing them with you.

We pride ourselves on providing high quality teaching and learning programmes that provide a holistic curriculum. Our Principal is Lynda Stuart and visits to May Road School are always welcomed.

You can contact the office on (09) 626 8021 ext 201.

New Entrants

There is lots of new learning for the whole family when children start school as five year olds. Our expert new entrant teachers have prepared a booklet to help you and your children prepare for the new entrant classroom. You can download the booklet here, view it below, or call into the school office and pick up a printed copy.
